About me

Born in Tokyo and growing up in Hong-Kong, I was surrounded by a culturally diverse expat community as well as a rich local history. As a child I was fascinated with the bright colors and textures that were seen all over the streets of Hong Kong. I expressed my interest in this in whatever artistic way I could, mainly through painting and drawing. After a trip to Italy I had set my mind on the fashion world. It was seeing a particularly gorgeous red Valentino gown that sealed the deal for me.

When it came to University I decided to play it safe intended to go to study History of Art, but my heart was leaning toward fashion design. I was accepted by London College of Fashion, University of the Arts and studied Design and Development.

I went on to intern at multiple large publishing houses which then led me into the styling sector. I have worked with stylists at Browns Fashion, LOVE Magazine, Grazia, Net-A-Porter, Mr Porter, Stella McCartney, Jimmy Choo.

Styling myself, my friends, and clients has always been something I have loved. I’ve always felt happy when I am able to help other people feel good about themselves and dressing is a way for them to express their inner selves. How we dress is often how we feel and it’s important for each of us to feel special.
